My name is Heather, and I'm the owner of Echo Valley Equestrian Center. I've been both a member and staff of Equus Community since 2015.

Echo Valley Equestrian Center started as a small seed of an idea in my mind back in the Spring of 2014. I had just discovered Equus Community, then Equus Sims, and was searching for inspiration to build my world. I've moved my stables countless times, and will probably do so again before the year is out.

Our first thoroughbred racing facilities were built in the winter of 2016. I spent about a month on the fencing alone, as anyone who's ever custom built knows is hugely mentally taxing. This world was a download from the Russian ES, and it's vast and open and was perfect for me to build up my track. This build sprawls out over 20+ 64x64 lots connected by that noteworthy black fencing. Included on the property is a 6 lot dirt track, a dry lot for turnout, a round pen, 8 large pastures, a covered arena (from when we had all of our horses in one single world), an outdoor arena, a larger barn with 20 stalls, tackroom, and office space, and a smaller 6 stall barn on the other end of the property for breeding. Since moving our sport horses out in the fall of 2017, most of the riding facilities lay unused. During the summer of 2018, this world had a fatal crash, and I had to retire it. Fall of 2018 started construction on our new thoroughbred facilities.

Our new thoroughbred facilities are set in a custom world edit. It's still under construction as of January 2019, but will have in the future a full training facility including an indoor walker, a training track, and pastures and stalls to support our current 6 horse Flat Racing team. Updates will be posted as they happen.

Fall of 2017 started construction on our sport horse facilities. This began with an auction for a custom world on Equus Community, which I had to jump on because the world was perfect for what we needed. I had tried several times and failed to create my own world in CAW, and the appearance of one for sale fixed all of my problems. This world is set in Colorado, with mountains in the distance and plenty of pastureland for our 35+ sport horses (because you can never have too many right?). A long tree-lined driveway takes you to our main stable, again with 20 stalls, an office, and a tackroom, as well as a small single turnout pen out front. Four large pastures lay in a square around the barn, and up the road from there is our large 64x64 outdoor. Our indoor riding arena connects from the outdoor with riding trails sprawling even further beyond that.
